-Take the R all the way to 95 st
-Take the D to 36st (BROOKLYN) and transfer
(SAME PLATFORM) to the R and get
off at 95 st
-Take the N to 59st (BROOKLYN) and transfer
(SAME PLATFORM) to the R and get off at 95 st
- Walk south to 101st
- Make a left
- Walk one block to Ft. Hamilton Pkwy - you are at the gate
Surrender ID to gain access to the base

Held at the newly dedicated SGT Deon Taylor Ball Fields, Service Members of all branches, retirees, veterans, first responders (NYPD & FDNY), DoD/DHS civilians, general public and their Families will enjoy a day dedicated to the sacrifices our heros in uniform make. Active Duty Service Members (to includes National Guard and Reserve) will have access for a personal meet and greet that afternoon.  This event is also a special tribute to a unit deploying for Afganistan on July 2.
 
The gates will open at 4 pm and the concert will begin at 6 pm - event is rain or shine. We will close the night with a spectacular fireworks display by Grucci immediately following the show. Those wishing to attend must have valid identification, such as a driver's license or a passport to gain entry - no exceptions (Fort Hamilton Security). It is highly recommended that guests arrive by public transportation because there will be limited parking available.
 
 
** REMINDER - CHAIRS & BLANKETS PERMITTED - NO SEATING ON EVENT GROUNDS **
 
Fort Hamilton is the only active military installation in New York City and supports Service Members and their Families within a 50 mile radius of our home in Brooklyn. Invited guests include Soldiers of Fort Hamilton, joint base Fort Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst (NJ), WestPoint, and Picatinny Arsenal. As well as any National Guard and Reserve units in the area, NY First Responder personnel, Department of Defense employees, Wounded Warrior Project and their Families.
