IN MEMORY OF PJ
Paul "PJ" Fluetsch was a steadfast volunteer for The Little Red Schoolhouse and a member of the Odd Fellows, who help sponsor this barbecue. 
He worked tirelessly to promote Little Red Schoolhouse; he organized the Odd Fellows' work crews to help during Distribution Week, and he ran the kitchen and set up on barbecue day. PJ passed away a couple of years ago and we now dedicate this barbecue in his memory.

Fundraising Barbecue
The Little Red Schoolhouse provides backpacks, school supplies, a coat, socks and underwear every August to thousands of kids whose families may be having trouble affording these things. That way parents don't have to choose between buying food and buying a notebook and pencils.
We estimate serving 4,000 students in August 2015. And that means a lot of supplies are needed! This entirely volunteer-run group needs your help to give supplies to these kids in need. Fortunately, if you like to eat, there's an easy way to make a difference in the life of a child: Come to our fundraiser barbecue on May 28!
The food is catered by Marv's Marvlus Pit Bar-B-Q. Eat in or take out. But if you stay, you also get to enjoy live music and good conversation with fellow supporters, or the friends you bring with you. Plus: Desserts for sale! And some cool raffle baskets! Proceeds from those go toward helping the kids too.
The meal is $10 and includes a pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, baked beans and a beverage. Buy your tickets now, and bring some friends along--it's fun in groups!
