Register below for TEX-21's gathering on Thursday, December 1st, and Friday, December 2nd.
On Thursday, December 1st, VIA Metro has organized a bus tour of their Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line, including a walking tour of their Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Bus Fueling Station, which is the largest in North America! On the tour, a VIA staff member will brief us on their various operations and projects. After the VIA tour, we will have an exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime experience, guided VIP experience tour at the historic Alamo and access to the non-public Alamo vault, where rarely seen artifacts are kept, including "The Phil Collins Collection"! Because of overwhelming response for dinner on Thursday, we have moved dinner to Alamo Hall on the historic Alamo grounds. During dinner, the Executive Director of the Alamo Trust, Kate Rogers, will be giving a presentation on the future of the Alamo historical site. Reception and dinner will immediately follow the Alamo tour.
NOTE: The tours and dinner on Thursday are only open to TEX-21 members or those who are seriously considering strengthening our organization with their membership. Spots are limited for the Thursday evening events, so register as soon as absolutely possible! Your attendance will be confirmed by our consultants at Dean International via email, so watch your inbox!
On Friday, December 2nd we will gather at the VIA Metro Center for the TEX-21 Statewide In-Person Meeting. Due to the jam-packed schedule, we will start earlier than usual with breakfast, registration, and networking from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. This decision was made to ensure that we accommodate all of the speakers and end the day promptly before 2:00 PM. This statewide meeting is focused and geared toward transit opportunities and our various initiatives, including corridor coalitions and Third Coast Initiative.
