Women's Monthly Reflection

Tuesday, March 22, 2022

Women's Monthly Reflection is a special evening to unplug, renew, and reconnect with God. Each month is a new topic relevant to our faith, society, and women. A Spiritual Deep Breath!

THIS MONTH'S REFLECTION

Preparing for Lent - What is a Whole Life Confession?

Guest Speaker: Fr. Bill Watson, SJ

"Many sins are forgiven her, because she has loved very much." Jesus words on St. Mary Magdalene

Fr. Bill felt his desire to be a missionary at the age of 18, while watching a commercial of people volunteering with the poor in Africa. He joined the Jesuits months later. He was ordained a priest in 1985, and went on to earn masters in both divinity and pastoral studies. He received his doctorate in ministry from the Catholic University of Americain 2009.

For over 35 years, Fr. Bill has been developing Ignatian programs and retreats used by universities all across the United States. In 2012, he founded the Sacred Story Institute, dedicated to the research and development of effective spiritual development resources. His most widely known book is called 40 Weeks, an Ignatian Path to Christ with Sacred Story Prayer.
You can learn more about the many programs from the Sacred Story Institute at sacredstory.net
