MOC Part 2 Self-Assessment Activities

12:00 PM – 12:30 PM	IT Prep & Set-Up (snacks available during set-up.)
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM	MOC Part 2 – Child Abuse Pediatrics Self-Assessment, Dena Nazer, MD, 10 MOC Part 2 Credits, 3 CME Credits
2:00 PM – 2:15 PM	Break, If you are only participating in the second MOC Activity, this time will be used for IT Prep and Set-Up.
2:15 PM – 3:45 PM	MOC Part 2 – Motivational Interviewing Self-Assessment, Susan Woolford, MD, 10 MOC Part 2 Credits, 5 CME Credits
4:30 PM - 6:00 PM	MIAAP Board of Directors Meeting (Members welcome.)

MOC Part 2 Self-Assessment Activities are facilitated by experts in their field who will guide you through an in-depth, group discussion that will allow you to complete your self-assessment. Your score will be sent directly to the ABP and your MOC and CME points will be automatically updated.

The content of the activities demonstrates the highest standards of ethical, educational and medical standards and effectively merges clinical practice and current evidence-based medical research.

REQUIRMENTS TO PARTICIPATE

To ensure that you will not encounter any problems during the session, please take a moment prior to the meeting to complete the following steps to register for the ABP Self-Assessment: 

1. Please bring your ABP Portfolio username and password; if you do not have one, please establish this credential BEFORE the meeting.  Only ABP diplomats will be eligible to participate and receive credit for this activity.
2. You must be in good standing with the ABP to participate in this activity.  BEFORE the meeting; log on to your ABP Portfolio and verify that you have made the necessary payments toward your MOC credit requirement. ABP Portfolio Log-In
3. Bring a laptop or tablet.  We recommend you login to the assessment on the device you will be using a few days in advance to ensure you will have access.  Please be certain your browser is the most current version of Chrome (Download Chrome) or Firefox (Download Foxfire).
4. On the attached reference list, click on the links to download the resources for this assessment.  You must review these resources prior to the session to become familiar with the materials.

All MOC Part 2 Activity materials will be e-mailed to you shortly after you register for the MOC Part 2 activities. Please e-mail, Laura Wagoner at laura.wagoner@miaap.org, if you do not receive your materials within 24 hours. You should receive:

*Activity Profile for each MOC Part 2 Self-Assessment

*Reference Material - must review materials prior to the activity

*Screen Shots from ABP Web site - you MUST be an ABP Diplomat and be in good standing with the ABP to participate in the Self-Assessment activities.

*Instructions for each MOC Part 2 Activity

Upon completion of the MOC Part 2 activity, your ABP Portfolio will be automatically updated with the appropriate MOC Part 2 Credits and CME's.
