Piedmont CASA is a 501c3 organization that provides trained and supervised volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in juvenile court dependency proceedings within Jackson, Barrow and Banks Counties.

As Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) for children,
Piedmont CASA has pledged to ensure all abused and neglected children involved in juvenile court dependency proceedings have a voice advocating for their best interests within the courtroom and
within the community.
Trained to participate within the juvenile court system, CASAs provide critical feedback to judges who decide the circumstances by which a child may be returned to his or her family. Piedmont CASA's trained volunteers are a reassuring presence for children in their new and unfamiliar settings.
