The Real School of Music is excited to invite you to our very 1st live streaming interactive video event with internationally renowned bassist Gary Willis. Willis will be performing live from his home studio in Barcelona, Spain. Through the years Willis has played with musicians like Wayne Shorter, Allan Holdsworth, Hubert Laws, Simon Phillips, Joe Diorio, Robben Ford, and Pil Upchurch, as well as being the co-leader of Tribal Tech. He's even had a bass custom designed and named after him. In 1999, Ibanez Guitars introduced the Gary Willis Signature Bass. One of Willis' recent projects is the eclectic trio Triphasic who released "Shaman" in 2008. Now a resident of Barcelona, Spain, Willis spends part of his time as a professor of composition, arranging, improvisation and bass at Barcelona’s prestigious Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya conservatory.
