Kim Patton is the Youth Services Supervisor, Kansas City, Kansas Public Library. Kim is a past president of the Young Adult Library Services Association, (YALSA); a current ALA Councilor and serves as Chair of the Coretta Scott King Book Award Jury. She has worked with children and teens in libraries for twenty-two years.

Gregg Winsor is a reference librarian at the Johnson County Library, specializing in Readers’ Advisory. Gregg has also been a young adult in the past, and thus is an instant expert. He also reads quite a bit of YA and has two children who are rapidly approaching that age. He received his MLS from Emporia State University and has been at JCL since 2006 and a reference librarian since 2010. He will refer to himself in the third person in casual conversation if you ask politely.

Carmen Hannon-Patton is the Reader’s Services Librarian at Kansas City, Kansas Public Library. Carmen has worked in Academic, Special, and Public Libraries. In her current position she does collection development, programming, runs two book clubs, and general outreach. Her favorite part of working is talking to patrons about the books they have read and helping them decide what to read next. Outside of work, Carmen loves books of all sorts, but especially those that feature a love triangle, vampires, or magic.
