July 22, 2017- Paepae o He'eia Community Workday (lunch provided) 

Join us for a Fishpond Workday! All ages are welcome but children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.  Tasks include moving rock and coral, filling buckets, hauling floating barges through the water, cutting/pulling out invasive mangrove, invasive limu removal, trash pickup, and reconstruction of the kuapa.

Everyone MUST wear covered shoes or tabis.  Dress to get wet and muddy; YOU WILL GET WET AND MUDDY!!  Bring a refillable water bottle.  Well have ice water in a jug for refills.  Arrive a few minutes early to park and sign-in upon arrival.

**PARKING** All of our workdays are staged from Heeia State Park (Ulumau Village). Theres ample parking at the State Park.  Find a stall and park.  As you enter the park theres an asphalt driveway immediately on the right leading down to the water.  Well be meeting there in the morning.  

**WEATHER** If weather is stormy and rainy, there is a chance that we may cancel the workday.  If there is any question, cancellation will happen over email.  If you dont see a cancellation email, the workday is a GO!
