In 1987, Jonas Carnemark founded a company to realize his creative goal: to bring home remodeling dreams to life—with both beauty and purpose. Since then, he has grown a 17-person design + build firm where devotion to the clean lines of modern design flows easily alongside a practical attention to function and comfort. The same ethic carries through to his sister business, called KONST SieMatic, an exclusive European kitchen showroom and his newly minted exclusive European bath product gallery KONST Union. 
 
A Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD), Certified Remodeler (CR), and Certified Living in Place Professional (CLIPP), he often serves as a voice for the profession, leading seminars, writing articles, and judging design competitions. Speaking engagements include the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), Dwell on Design, and state and local chapters of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). With over one hundred national and regional design awards, CARNEMARK projects regularly earn attention from such media outlets as The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Food Network, Home & Design magazine, and numerous trade publications.
