2011 Motor City CrossFit Summer Open 

When

Tired of competing against other more experienced or younger athletes? Want to compete against other CrossFitters in your own age group or experience level? Well the 2011 Motor City CrossFit Summer Open is for you.

 We are proud to offer an event that has a bracket for you.

 1. Open class- Standard CrossFit competition, this is for all the firebreathers who regularly compete and finish all the WODs as RXd.

 2. Beginner class- This is for our beginner CrossFitters who are able to complete some WODs RX'd but have to scale occasionally. Example 10 minute fran/ 15 Minute Helen/ 10 rounds of Cindy. When you sign up for this class you will need to send us an email with where you train and for how long. We will be checking with your gym, on previous CF events and open sectional scores. We want to make sure you belong in this class. Sorry but we are going to keep this fair.

3. Over 40 class- Must be 40 on or before the competition date.

 PRIZES

Each 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finisher in each class (men and women) will be guaranteed a prize, with many additional prizes being awarded to other athletes via a lottery type drawing following the competition.

 We are excited because we have the normal CF competition prizes: Kettlebells, jump ropes, foam rollers, T-Shirts and Ab Mats. We also wanted to get the community outside of CF involved so we also have prizes that include CPL (concealed pistol license certification) classes, range time, Chiropractic care, Movie/special event tickets, gift cards for local restaurants and car wash gift certificates to name a few. Sponsors are being added every day.

 EVENT DETAILS

• Cost- $45.00
• Multiple WOD format- All competitors will have the opportunity to participate in 4 WODs.
• First 3 WODs will be announced days before event.
• Kids WOD/Demo, check back for more info on that.
