Join us for a special walking tour of Printers Alley and Lower Broadway in downtown Nashville with Jim Hoobler, Senior Curator of Art & Architecture at the Tennessee State Museum and author of "Guide to Historic Nashville, Tennessee." The tour starts with a cocktail at Skull's Rainbow Room and leads to a walk down Printers Alley, historic 2nd Avenue and ends on Lower Broadway at Swingin' Doors Saloon, one of the few historic buildings remaining on the south side of Broadway. Venture into the history of the nightlife of the past as we walk through the nightlife of present day Nashville and see this historic downtown neighborhood from a new perspective.
Tour includes an autographed copy of "Guide to Historic Nashville, Tennessee", free cocktail at Skull's Rainbow Room, one raffle ticket, and exclusive drink specials at Swingin' Doors Saloon. Raffle prizes include a $100 gift certificate to Skull's Rainbow Room. Additional raffle can be purchase in advance or at the door.
Tickets are $60 and space is limited to 20 guests. Advanced registration required. Once the tour is sold out, interested guests can contact Jenn Harrman at the Tennessee Preservation Trust to be placed on a waiting list.
