About our Speaker:
Jeff Skolnick, MD, PhD Cascade Behavioral Health
Jeff Skolnick MD, PhD is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry through University of Washington. He has doctoral training in Neuro-psychology and a PhD n National Health Science. Dr. Skolnick has been a Zen Meditation and teacher for almost 40 yrs and a published author of “Awaken your Brain: Coming Alive to Vibrant Wellness and new Reality”. He specializes in brain training and wellness for peak living.
Objectives:
- To understand the brain mechanisms behind people’s emotional struggles and compulsive habits
- To learn a new definition of mental health
- To learn a new approach that turns emotional struggles into peak wellbeing
