Good Neighbor Day Spring

 Join CHAI on April 21st for Good Neighbor Day--a gratifying day to 'Clean and Green' neighborhoods as well as help our vulnerable residents maintain their properties and dignity.

Volunteers can choose from a variety of neighborhood projects, such as: cleaning Western Run stream, clearing storm drains, sweeping streets and alleys, helping with block beautification projects and more!

One of the most important and meaningful aspects of Good Neighbor Day is interacting with and helping vulnerable community members and seniors. The work volunteers perform fosters dignity, instills pride and helps residents enjoy a greener, safer home environment. Projects include: yard work, installing non-skid safety strips, painting railings, and removing winter weatherization plastic from windows.
