Desired Daily Experience:
When Strategy Meets Execution

Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 8:00 AM

Environmental factors have clearly changed as we emerge from the pandemic and face other social and economic issues.  Yet the overall objective of most organizations has remained the same: deliver against a mission, create value, improve, grow, and sustain performance.

The  Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence —in partnership with the Performance Excellence Network-- is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, Aug 25: “Desired Daily Experience: When Strategy Meets Execution.”  The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Joey Page, Superintendent, and John Alberts, Executive Director of Organizational Development & Administrative Services, both of Austin Public Schools.

Joey and John will:

  • share an overview of the district’s strategic planning process that centers on “desired daily experience” of all stakeholders — students, staff, and parents/guardians;
  • explore how the organization deploys that vision, including the use of “vision cards”; and
  • identify how the district identifies & responds to opportunities for improvement from its Baldrige evaluation.

As the calendar moves us into late summer and early fall, many organizations are beginning to think about annual planning for 2023.  Come learn how a school district has created a sophisticated strategic planning process that integrates the voice of their stakeholders, a vision of customer experience, and a culture of continuous improvement — all best practices that can work in educational institutions, but also businesses, healthcare systems, governmental and nonprofit agencies!

This session is Thursday, Aug 25 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional networking and mingling 7:45-8:00) using Zoom MEETING. Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion. Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.

Can’t make it live but interested in the content? Register anyway: all registered attendees get a link to the recording after the session!
