Speaker: Yvonne Enselman (iTech Solutions)
Yvonne Enselman is the Director of Professional Services at iTech Solutions and she is based in Chicago, IL. She started working with the IBM i Platform (AS/400, iSeries) in 1996 holding positions including programmer/analyst, B2B coordination, and instructor. Since 2005 she has focused on quality assurance and project management bringing certifications in these areas to the technical disciplines of the traditional IBM i professional.
She is a passionate advocate of the system volunteering in myriad ways such as serving as a director for professional associations (COMMON, OMNI), speaking, writing, blogging, teaching, and mentorship.

Basics of Testing for Programmers

Designed for programmers this session will help application developers deliver more reliable work product. While the need for testing and QA is widely accepted and embraced it can be difficult to achieve in smaller IT departments where one professional wears many hats. Whether you are your own QA or you want to bullet proof your application before hand off this session will improve your skills.
Organization and Testing of OS and Power UpgradingUpgrading an OS or Power system infrastructure can be daunting when approached. This session will review how to analyze needs, manage risk, and assign testing tasks, track, and report.
