With an incredible contralto to 1st soprano vocal range, Kitt Potter has earned a sterling reputation as an enchanting classical vocalist; a charismatic balladeer and jazzer; a show stopping rock and roller; and an unstoppable ‘funkateer’ with a most fascinating stage presence.  Blessed by the tutelage of jazz masters: Nobel Jolley, Philly Jo Jones, Mulgrew Miller, this gifted vocal stylist, actress, percussionist, and lyricist has wowed audiences in Europe, throughout the USA and at the hottest NYC clubs. Kitt’s high profile performances have included three Super Bowl Advertiser’s Balls, gala honoring the King and Queen of Sweden, a star studded birthday party for Julia Roberts, Law and Order’s Benjamin Bratt’s engagement party, the Wella Ball during Fashion Week in NYC, and more. Notables that have been members of Kitt’s ensembles include Orville Saunders (The Blackbyrds), the incomparable jazz pianist Mulgrew Miller, percussionist Gerardo Valez (Spyro Gyra), and Jim Cammack (Ahmad Jamal).  She has shared the stage with Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz and Tower of Power to name a few.

She currently performs with her NY-based "Origins Project" - an eclectic jazz-groove duet with guitar virtuoso Matt Finck and her new DC-based soul-jazz quartet featuring the celebrated pianist Wayne Wilentz (Shirelles, SKKY).
