BAM (Black African Museum) IS THE LARGESET MOBILE MUSEUM OF ITS KIND IN NORTH AMERICA (BAM 2005 –2017).  BAM CELEBRATES AND PROMOTES AFRICA’S HISTORY, CULTURE, PEOPLE AND OUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO S.T.E.M.  BAM FEATURES ANCIENT AND MODERN CONTRIBUTIONS OF AFRICAN INVENTORS, INNOVATORS, PIONEERS AND TRAILBLAZERS AROUND THE WORLD.  

BAM’S MISSION IS TO ENCOURAGE, SUPPORT POSITIVE SELF-IMAGE IN AFRICANS, AFRICAN CANADIANS, CANADIANS AND MULTICULURAL WORLD; WHILE RECOGNIZING, CELEBRATING OUR COLLECTIVE HISTORY, CULTURE AND HERITAGE IN A WHOLE HEALTH APPROACH.  OUR GOAL IS TO INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION OF GREAT CANADIANS IN S.T.E.M TRAILBLAZERS AND TO CONTINUE CANADA LEGACY AS A PIONEERING & INNOVATIVE NATION.

Background                                                                                                        AS OWNER, CURATOR AND CREATOR OF THE *NEW ADDITIONS TO BAM “INTERNATIONAL ALL AFRICAN INVENTORS’ MUSEUM” (IAAIM 2004) AND THE CREATIVE FORCE BEHIND THE LAUNCH OF THE VERY SUCCESSFUL SHEREHEKEA AFRICA PRESENTATIONS 2005, THE LAUNCH OF WISE (WORLD IN SPACE EXHIBIT2010)  AT THE OSC (ONTARIO SCIENCE CENTER), FEATURING THE PIONEERING MEN AND WOMEN FROM OVER 100 COUNTRIES IN SPACE SCIENCE, THE CREATION AND LAUNCH OF THE SSEE (SPACE SCIENCE & EXPLORATION 2014 AND 2017, WE LAUNCHED THE AFRICAN ART FOOD & FABRIC EXHIBIT, CHILDREN YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT INVENTORS & INNOVATORS, CHINA’S AFRICAN DYNASTIES AND THE VERY POPULAR *I LOVE S.T.E.M SELFIES CENTER.  WE ARE ALWAYS SEARCHING FOR NEW WAYS TO EDUCATE, INSPIRE, EXCITE AND MOTIVATE VISITORS TO BAM WITH PIONEERS, INNOVATORS AND INVENTORS IN S.T.E.M.

By Subway: Take Yonge St. line north to ‘Sheppard’ subway station. Walk north on the west side of Yonge St.- Turn left at Upper Madison Av. and look for the CDI College entrance.

By Car: From highway 401, exit North on Yonge St. -  the CDI College entrance is located on the 3rd street north of Sheppard on the west side of Yonge St. - To drop someone off before parking, turn left on the 4th street north of Sheppard on the west side of Yonge St., which is the Upper Madison Av. loop (see picture below indicating the CDI entrance door): 



Attendance Fee:  Guests:  10.00 online  / $15.00 at the door.  Guests and visitors, please register online by clicking the "Register Now" button below.  Members can attend for free, but please bring your membership card to the event.
