Dr Whelihan is a board-certified OB/GYN who has practiced in West Palm Beach, FL since 1997.  She is a founding partner in the Center for Sexual Health and Education which is based in West Palm Beach and Charlotte NC.  Past President of the Palm Beach County Medical Society, and the Immediate Past President of the Florida OBGYN Society, has a series on XM RADIO 160 “Sexual Medicine and Health” and makes a regular appearance each month on NBC’s Charlotte Today Show.  Dr Whelihan serves on the Board of Managers for the Healthcare Committee of the Palms West Chamber of Commerce,  is a volunteer physician for the Project Access program in Palm Beach County since 2006, has been awarded “America’s Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists” and “Top Doctors in the United States”.  In 2003 and 2009 she was honored by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Palm Beach Illustrated as “Woman of the Year” and in 2009 nominated by the Lupus Foundation as one of the Best and Brightest Women in Palm Beach County.

For 26 years, Kelley Dunn has been the face of local news in the West Palm Beach television market.  This University of Florida graduate is a 5-time Emmy award winning journalist and is co-anchor of Newschannel 5's top-rated 5:30, 6 and 11pm newscasts. Kelley is a wife and mother of two teenaged children and a native Floridian.  She is devoted to many charitable causes including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

In 1985, 900 women in Palm Beach County  delivered their babies at local emergency rooms with little or no prenatal care, precipitating an increase in the county's low birth weight babies, infant mortality, medical complications and children with disabilities. As a result, in 1986, Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County (HMHB) was established to improve birth outcomes, promote healthy families, and build healthy communities by providing access to prenatal care for underserved and uninsured pregnant teens, women and families, and community-oriented education programs to all residents of Palm Beach County.  Today, the organization serves more than 59,000 Palm Beach County residents yearly.  Programs offered include Prenatal Outreach; Prenatal Care Coordination; MomCare, Health Care Navigators, and the HMHB Education Programs.
