We'll go slow and steady so you understand how to submit insurance claims and make sure your claims are processed and paid correctly. We'll explain how to confirm patient benefits and which carriers you can join and how to bill both IN and OUT of network.
You'll learn both ICD 10 and CPT coding - with up to the minute information on coding changes and updates. You'll learn how to verify benefits, how to submit claims electronically, as well as the basics of Insurance, PPO, HMO, EPO. You'll understand what is going on with the VA and Medicare as well as general health insurance.
Plus tips and tricks from Acupuncturists' favorite biller!
This class comes complete with cheat sheets and additional materials you will immediately use in your practice. Can't make it? You'll get access to the recordings of the seminar and can get NCCAOM distance learning CEUs.
Classes are taught by:
Mori West CPC, the CEO of Acuclaims, an insurance billing company for Acupuncturists. Last year Acuclaims collected over 10 million dollars for their clients. Mori is a member of AMBA (American Medical Billing Assoc.) and was their 2010 member of the year. She is also certified as a Professional Coder with AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders.) Currently she is the Insurance Committee Chairman for the ASA, (American Society of Acupuncturists).
