Paul Sipe has over thirty years in the commercial banking business. He organized and started two locally owned banks in the east San Diego County. He also has a diverse background in commercial, industrial and residential real estate, including sales, leasing and financing. He has his own consulting business, specializing in construction financing, mergers and acquisitions, long-term leasing and turn-around evaluations. He served as a NASD arbitrator for over twelve years and has an above average knowledge of the securities business. Paul joined SCORE in July 2007.
John Wham is a graduate electrical engineer with approximately 25 years’ experience in design and development of both military and commercial systems, beginning as an entry-level engineer and culminating as the Chief Engineer of a major division of a large electronics company. John co-founded a software development company and was in charge of product design and development. The company’s software products included a distributed project management system, regulation-compliant security system, and a sales force automation system, which became the flagship product of the company during the last 10 years of operation. He also served as President of the company for 4 years leading up to the time it was sold.
