The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider course is designed to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently evaluate and effectively manage seriously ill infants and children. Course content includes how to assess for evidence of respiratory and circulatory compromise, establish treatment priorities, and intervene when necessary to stabilize the child. Treatment of the respiratory and circulatory systems, management of cardiac arrest and arrhythmia, and immediate post resuscitation care are renewed.
Registration includes a copy of the current PALS student manual.
