Please join 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania for the 2016 Commonwealth Awards. This year we celebrate three Philadelphia institutions and the dynamic impact they – and their many development partners – are having on the region.   This year’s event showcases the transformational impact institutions can have through creative public-private partnerships and strategic investment in placemaking projects that exemplify land use excellence.

10,000 Friends is pleased to present its highest honors, including the inaugural Joanne Denworth Founders Award for Institutional Excellence to Drexel University. Accepting on behalf of Drexel and giving the Keynote address will be President John A. Fry.  SEPTA will receive the 10,000 Friends Community Transportation Excellence Award and the Philadelphia Water Department will receive the 10,000 Friends Public Infrastructure Excellence Award.
