We're doubling our size to serve even more children and families. With this major expansion your donation makes a difference.

Since 2004, the Children's Dyslexia Center - Seacoast Learning Center has provided free Orton-Gillingham Instruction to the children of Rochester and surrounding communities.

To date, over 350 families with struggling readers have had the good fortune of attending the center for two or three years of intensive one-on-one Multisensory Structured Language Education (MSLE) usually resulting in significant improvements in reading, self-esteem, and improved family life.

The Center, which also provides free MSLE instruction to qualified trainees, has certified over 125 Dyslexia Practioners. These practioners then make a big difference in the schools where they work.

And our work with school systems, where we train and mentor teachers who work with their students in their schools, continues to thrive in its fifth year.
