Dr. David Nelms left a big impression on many as the keynote speaker at the ERC Annual Conference this past April, 2018. Through The Timothy Initiative, David has led over 50,000 churches started internationally and now they are also working to start thousands in the United States. What is The Timothy Initiative?

It is an international church planting organization which was established with the purpose to train and equip “Timothys” (Pastors/Church Planters).

Disciples Making Disciples is the vehicle that drives TTI’s church planting strategy around the world. Every believer is called to be a disciple; and every disciple is called to be a disciple maker. When disciples make disciples who make disciples we capture the New Testament model of church planting.

Who is Dr. David Nelms?

David serves as Founder & President of TTI. He casts vision and gives direction to TTI as we impact the world for Christ. David is a former senior pastor and had success in growing three different churches in Maryland, Iowa and Florida. He has been a trustee on the board of Luther Rice Seminary and has taught all over the world. David received a Master of Arts degree from Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice University and his Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice University. David is married to his lovely wife Loretta. They have three grown children and five grandchildren.
