TYRO Rites of Passage (ROP) is an evidence-based positive youth development curricula that transitions youth into healthy, productive adults. ROP is designed to be easily implemented as a year-long program in your school or community and is adapted to meet the unique needs of the youth you serve.
TYRO ROP teaches goal setting, leadership development, drug/alcohol abuse resistance, and sexual risk avoidance education. The focus of TYRO ROP is to move all children into healthy, responsible adulthood and activate positive development in youth. Without proper guidance, all children are at risk of engaging in unhealthy behaviors. The essential goal of TYRO ROP is to prepare boys to be men and girls to be women.
Training will be held at our McClure office on August 11th-12th, from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
