Carolyn Hanke, Community Outreach & Partnerships, The Excel Center of Fort Worth and Lezlie Culver, MSW, Survivor and LOSS Team Volunteer will present on Suicide Awareness and When Postvention Becomes Prevention.
September is Suicide Awareness Month. We use this month to reach out to those affected by suicide, raise awareness by sharing facts, signs, symptoms, and resources to connect individuals with suicidal ideation to treatment services.
Lezlie will also present on the postvention services of the LOSS Team and why postvention is important in providing prevention to surviving families and friends.
