8:00 AM – 10:00 AM Propane Dispenser and Bulk Plant Permit Requirements Presentation
All Propane dispensers and bulk plants are required to obtain a permit from the Maine Fuel Board. In reviewing the applications for permits the inspectors have identified several parts of the application process that are not being completed correctly thus causing delays in the companies getting their permits in a timely manner. The Presentation will highlight several areas of the application that are being filled out incorrectly and provide strategies to prevent this from continuing. The presenter will go over how to obtain an application, address who may be required to complete the application, and who must construct the propane bulk plant or propane dispenser as well as the steps required to build a compliant plant/dispenser. Anyone who could be required to complete an application or anyone who may be required to construct a bulk plant or propane dispenser is encouraged to attend.
8:30 AM – 10:30 AM MAINE STATE INTERNAL PLUMBING CODE UPDATE
Code update and review of 2015 edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code all with amendments to the code.
10:45 AM – 12:45 PM MAINE FUEL CODE UPDATECode update and review of current adopted codes that pertain to the oil, propane and natural gas industry. This presentation will consist of a power point presentation and an open floor for questions during the presentation. Solid fuel codes will be addressed on an as needed basis. All licensees that are in the oil, propane, and natural gas industry are encouraged to attend.
