4th Annual Department of the Army Civilian Leadership Summit

The Redstone-Huntsville Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) will host its fourth annual Department of the Army Civilian Leadership Summit on January 29, 2015 from 1:00pm till 4:00pm at The Summit located on Redstone Arsenal.  The cost of the event is free and will afford participants an opportunity to hear and ask questions concerning leadership and career planning as part of the forum.  There will be keynote speakers from Army and Industry senior leaders as well as a Leadership Panel in which attendees can discuss a variety of leadership topics, challenges, and ideas with the guest speakers and panel members.  There is no cost (a.k.a. Free) for attendees but attendance is limited to 200 participants so please register at www.ausaredstone.org.

"Last year's AUSA DAC Leadership Summit was well received and was one of the Chapter's Leadership Development Outreach Programs for Army Civilians.  AUSA supports Army soldiers as well as civilians, especially in the Redstone/Huntsville community where Army civilians make up a majority of the Army's presence here.  We look forward to the 4th annual event which will provide Department of the Army Civilians a forum to discuss leadership challenges and opportunities" says Dr. Steven Messervy, Chapter Vice President for Civilian Affairs.

Last year, Lt. General (retired) Kevin Campbell, former Commander, US Army Space & Missile Defense Command, now VP and Corporate Lead Executive for Northrop Grumman in Huntsville and Mr. John Nerger, Executive Deputy to the Commander, US Army Materiel Command both were keynote speakers and provided sage advice on leadership and Army careers.  This leadership forum will provide a unique opportunity for Army civilians within the Redstone/Huntsville community.
