Greetings from the Carolina Recycling Association!
Welcome to our Conference Home Page and Online Registration Portal. We are very pleased to bring you our 21st Annual Conference and Trade Show: Everything Old is New Again.
On this page, you can find out more information about the many exciting events happening at this year's conference. Scroll below to find links to our Preliminary Program, Exhibitor Brochure, Sponsorship Brochure, and Golf Tournament.
The Programs Committee, lead by SC DHEC and NC DEAO has planned six plenary sessions to discuss key issues relevant to the recycling industry today including: national recycling trends, markets, packaging, plastics, and innovative strategies from our neighboring states. Our breakout session topics will cover commercial recycling, incentive systems, glass recycling, food waste, composting, C&D recycling, electronics, apartment and event recycling, recycling new commodities, and more!
At the workshops and tours, you can learn everything from how to set up a pharmaceutical collection program from the Household Hazardous Waste Council to seeing Geocycle's Dorchester County facility where non-hazardous waste is converted to fuel, or visit the neighboring Kiawah Island Golf Resort to hear about their award-winning sustainability program and take a kayak tour of the natural surroundings.
Save your Thursday evening for more networking time during our Lowcountry reception at the lovely waterfront Charleston Maritime Center on Charleston Harbor. If you crave shrimp and grits and lowcountry fare, this event is not to be missed!

A few notes about our new online registration program:
- You are encouraged to register in advance. Registration will be cut off on March 23. If you register in advance, but choose to pay at the door, you will not incur an on-site registration surcharge. If you do not register in advance and register at the door, you will incur a $25 on-site registration surcharge.
- You will be able to pay for your registration online via credit card through PayPal. You may also pay via a mailed check to CRA or bring the check with you to the conference.
- If you wish to select additional events /items such as workshops, tours, the Golf Tournament, additional exhibitor registrations (beyond the 2 complimentary registrations) or guest meal tickets, you will receive one separate invoice for your total additional event fees. This invoice will be sent to you via email from CRA's PayPal account. Like your conference registration fee, you will have the option to pay via a credit card on PayPal, a mailed check or pay with a check at the door.
