BIG6 BY THE MONTH: SERIES 2011-2012 

For each skill we target the standards students need to achieve, we identify how and when to apply the skills within the standards-based curriculum, we offer strategies to measure student success, and we suggest attainable methods to report information literacy skill growth to administrators, parents, students and stakeholders. 

While you complete each activity you will develop a customized, comprehensive information literacy program that includes your state standards, your subject/grade level benchmarks, and your students' needs. Information literacy is too important to be hit or miss.
