Instructional Coaching 101 (10-1-14)

Speaker: Lisa King

Target Audience: Instructional Coaches, Curriculum Resource Teacher, Curriculum Specialists or Instructional Supervisors, PLC Leads, Principal, Assistant Principals

Want to explore the basics of getting started with instructional coaching?  This session will explore key components of developing the instructional coaching partnership, ideas for managing your time, getting teachers on board and different ways to support teachers and give feedback.  The second half of the day will be focused on processes that lead to improved student learning and focused instructional targets based on data.

Participants will need to bring a copy their CSIP.  We will also be using KPREP data so participants need either an electronic copy or hard copy of that information in order for the session to be most productive.

If you need ADA accommodations, please email Brandi Carroll at brandi@cksec.org.
