Target Audience: New ARC Chairperson
Description: The session is designed to introduction persons new to the role of ARC Chairperson to the functions and responsibility of this position. Participants will become familiar with: steps in conducting an ARC, the different types of ARC’s, categories of special education, and State/ Federal laws impacting chairing an ARC. Opportunities to discuss, role-play, and/or network with other professionals concerning the role of ARC Chairperson will be provided.

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.
Attendance Policy:
If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
