Do your students struggle with the learning of algebra? Algebra tiles are one way to help students make algebra more tangible. This interactive workshop will lead participants through the use of algebra tiles as a means of understanding work with multiplying binomial expressions, factoring trinomials, and completing the square. The importance of the concrete>semi-concrete>abstract (C-S-A) sequence of instruction will be highlighted.
