Target Audience: Special Education Teachers, General Education Teachers working with students with IEPs, Interventionist, Instructional Coaches, Administrators

12. Systematically design instruction toward a specific learning goal.
13. Adapt curriculum tasks and materials for specific goals.

Description: In this session participants will receive an overview of Specially Designed Instruction and specific strategies to aid students in accessing grade level content.  Focus will be on explicit instruction, mnemonics, multiple means for practice to name a few.  Participants will have the opportunity to reflect and plan for making instructional decisions for approaches and strategies to help meet the needs of their students.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
