Description:
We all use Visual Supports through our day. No one could go a day without the use of Visual Supports. Visual supports are any tool presented visually that supports an individual as he or she moves through the day. Visual Supports are an Evidenced Based Practice for teaching students with disabilities of all ages. They are proven to support success. Participants will learn strategies for using visual supports with students with disabilities across general education and special education settings. Some examples that will be covered include; directions, pictures, written words, objects within the environment, arrangement of the environment or visual boundaries, schedules, maps, labels, organization systems, timelines, and scripts. EILA and CEU’s will be applied for.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.
Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session.
Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.
Attendance Policy:
If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
