FREIBURG 2013:
EUROPEAN CONFERENCE FOR ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES
With effect from December 2013, this conference will be held in Freiburg instead of nearby Gottenheim. The increasing size of this Christmas conference has outgrown the limited conference facilities in Gottenheim. However, delegates may book their lodging in either Freiburg or Gottenheim.
This is a four-day package (i.e., Tuesday to Friday) which consists of refereed research presentations in Freiburg in parallel with cultural programs in EUCOR's educational region. IJAS will provide free private coaches from (a) Gottenheim's only train station and (b) Freiburg's main train station. On Wednesday, the coaches will visit Alsace's Colmar (France) and Strasbourg (France). On Thursday, the coaches will proceed to Basel (Switzerland) and Bern (Switzerland). In their free time, the delegates could visit Freiburg on foot and its adjacent Black Forrest.
For those who need a Schengen visa to enter Germany, the visa is valid for all three countries.
