Summer Musical Theater Auditions!

Casting singers & dancers (singing & non-singing dancers) ages 16-60 for two fun summer productions! "Sing For Your Supper" & "Funky Town"

Director and Producer John Bisceglie seeks non-union men and women (ages 16-60) who sing to appear in two fun summer productions. These are two non paid community theater productions with high production value, talented cast, awesome theaters, and small time commitment, allowing those with busy schedules and family commitments an ability to still perform in a dynamic production. When making an appointment to audition, you may select to be considered for one or both productions.

"Funky Town" The ultimate all singing, all dancing salute to the 70's! Featuring a hit parade of classic disco, funk and R&B music, combined with clips from your favorite 70's TV shows and commercials.

Singer auditions: Sunday, June 8th. 2:30-5:30pm.

Dance auditions: Tuesday, June 10th. 6:30-7:30pm. Please email us at sffollies@gmail.com if you dance, and want to attend the dance audition.

Callbacks: Tuesday, June 10th. 8-9:30pm.
9 Tuesday night rehearsals: June 17, 24. July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. Aug 5, 13 from 7-10pm.
2 Dress rehearsals: Thursday, Aug 14th and Friday, Aug 15th. 7:00-11pm.
1 public performance: Saturday, August 16th at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater.

"Sing For Your Supper" Celebrate Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein & Lorenz Hart’s legendary contribution to the American songbook. Be a part of this dynamic showcase featuring a super selection of beloved Broadway classics and popular standards that defined an era.

Auditions: Sunday, June 8th. 2:30-5:30pm.

Callbacks: Wednesday, June 11th. 7-9:30pm.

7 Wednesday rehearsals in SF from 7-10pm. June 18th, 25th, July 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.
Dress rehearsal: Friday Aug 1st. 7:30-10pm.
2 public performances: Saturday, August 2nd at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

How to prepare: Prepare to sing 16 bars acapella (around 30 seconds) of a 1930's or 40's American standard for "Sing for your Supper" and or a 1970's pop or R&B song for "Funky Town". Please bring a head shot/photo and resume. Feel free to drop in anytime between 2:30pm-5:30pm and plan to stay for about an hour.

If selected, cast members will need to purchase/provide one outfit and dance shoes.
