CASTING DANCERS - SINGER/DANCERS - SINGERS
From the creators of “SF Follies”, “Modern Musical”, "Sing For Your Supper” and “Funky Town” comes a new musical revue that features a super selection of the best Broadway songs and dance numbers from the past and present.
Director and Producer John Bisceglie seeks 40 non-union men and women to appear in “Broadway Song & Dance”.
The show will be performed on Saturday, January 17th at the historic Marines’ Memorial Theatre. Built in 1926, this intimate 550-seat jewel box theatre is located in the heart of San Francisco’s theatre district between Union Square and Nob Hill.
This is a fun, non-paid community theater production with a talented cast, high production value and small time commitment (one day a week), allowing those with busy schedules and family commitments the ability to perform in a dynamic production.

DANCERS: Seeking non-union male and female dancers with strong technique and experience in multiple dance styles. You will learn a variety of combinations and may be asked to tap. Gymnastics, tumbling & partnering skills are a plus! Females please bring flats and heels.
SINGERS: Seeking diverse performers with strong vocal abilities and dynamic personalities for R&B, Pop/Rock and Contemporary Musical Theatre. Prepare up to 16 bars (acappella) of your best up tempo song or Broadway ballad.
Dancer commitment:
12 Tuesday rehearsals in San Francisco from 7pm-10pm for dancers.

Singer commitment:
Featured singers for "Broadway Song & Dance" will only needed for 6 rehearsals in January. Although the dancers will be meeting every Tuesday, our featured singers will only be needed for the last two weeks of rehearsal. January 6, 13 (7-10pm) Tech Week: 7pm-10:30pm. (Wed-Fri) January 14, 15, 16. One public performance on Saturday, January 17 at the Marines Memorial Theater.
Dancer & Singer/Dancer Audition*: Satruday, September 20th 1:45pm.

*Singer/Dancers should attend the Dancer audition, and will be asked to sing following the dancer audition at 4:00pm on Saturday, September 20th.
Non Dancing Singer Audition: Saturday, October 4th 3:00-5:00pm. Please feel free to stop in anytime between 3:00-5:00pm and plan to stay approximately 45 minutes. King George Hotel in Union Square. 334 Mason St, San Francisco, CA 94102.
If selected, cast members will need to provide one costume (around $50-95) as well as dance shoes.
