"Night & Day" Auditions 

CASTING SINGERS for a Cole Porter revue in San Francisco!

Director and Producer John Bisceglie seeks 35 non-union men and women (ages 18+) to appear in "Night & Day." Seeking diverse performers with strong vocal abilities and a dynamic personality to perform a variety of classic Cole Porter songs. Cast members will appear in multiple solo, duet, group and ensemble numbers accompanied by a grand piano. The concert will be performed at the beautiful Caroline H. Hume Concert Hall at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Celebrate gifted composer and lyricist, Cole Porter’s legendary contribution to the American songbook. The show features a hit parade of songs from the 1920’s, 30’s, and 40’s, including Begin the Beguine, From This Moment On, Anything Goes, It’s De-Lovely, You’re The Top, Just One of Those Things, and My Heart Belongs to Daddy. Cole Porter set new standards for popular songwriting, and his lyrics and melodies are as bright and sophisticated today as when they first dazzled audiences decades ago.

This is a fun, non-paid community theater production with a talented cast, high production value and small time commitment (one day a week), allowing those with busy schedules and family commitments the ability to perform in a dynamic production.

King George Hotel.  334 Mason St, San Francisco, CA 94102.

Please be prepared to sing 16 bars acapella in the style of the show; musical theater or operetta,
(NO POP OR ROCK). Please bring a picture and resume.

Callbacks: Tuesday, May 19th. 7-10pm. (Location TBA)

The Commitment:

14 Tuesday evening rehearsals in SF from 7-10pm. (8th and Folsom)

June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
July 7, 14, 21, 28
Aug 4, 11, 18, 25

Tech rehearsal: Wednesday, Aug 26

2 public performances: Sunday, Aug 30

If selected, cast members will need to provide one evening gown or rent a tuxedo.
