Buffi Williams joins us for AALI Speaks to talk about solution-focused thinking, strengths-based leadership, mental health, and self-care.
Her work focuses on the link between mental health and educational success for youth. Bringing attention to mental health, an often-neglected issue particularly in the African American community, is key to academic and personal success. Her main message is that emotional wellness and emotional regulation are the engine to success in all areas of life, especially for youth.
Guided by her experience as a licensed social worker for over 20 years, she will also tell us about the importance of designing social service programs in a way that ensures success for program participants.
If you care about the future success of our community's children, you can't miss AALI Speaks with Buffi Williams. Seats are limited to 25 participants so make sure to register quickly!
