AALI Speaks May: Dr. James Jones III 

Dr. James Jones III joins us for AALI Speaks to talk to us about an incredibly important topic: racial inequality. With a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in African & African American Studies and a Master’s and PhD in History, Dr. Jones brings an incredible wealth of knowledge to the table.

His professional experience is even more comprehensive, as it includes being part of the Introduction to African-American Studies Research Symposium (University of Houston) and the African American Male Research Symposium, Texas African-American Heritage Organization, Inc., and Black Male Leadership Retreat (all University of Texas at Austin).

Guided by his professional and academic experience, he will discuss how racial inequality impacts communities, especially boys of color.
