Welcome to the registration site for the BIO 2017 5K Run/Walk for Health presented by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, host of the 2017 BIO International Convention. BIO 2017 will take place June 19-22^nd at the San Diego Convention Center.

BIO invites Convention attendees and the San Diego community to participate in the 5K and learn more about the 40+ organizations participating in the BIO International Convention’s Patient Advocacy Pavilion and the incredible work they do to advance the discovery, development, and delivery of new treatments for patients. In addition to raising awareness, developing policy agendas, and advocating on behalf of their communities of patients and caregivers, these organizations are also helping to drive the development of new medicines for patients by funding research, developing patient registries, and collecting patient preference information. Learn more about the Patient Advocacy Pavilion at BIO 2017.

Awards & special prizes will be awarded to 5K participants with the most colorful, craziest costumes so let your creativity shine!

Awards will also be given to the top 3 finishers for overall male & female, and 1st place male & female finishers in the following categories: 29-Under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, & 60-Up.
