What is this retreat all about?   The retreat is all about RUACH --   The Israeli SPIRIT that is energetic, strong, and optimistic.   The retreat is filled with fun, informal, and engaging activities, discussions and debates that will inspire and motivate teens to be proud Jews and Zionists.

What is Club Z?   Club Z is a pro-Israel Youth movement open to teens 13 years of age and older.  While having lots of fun and socializing, the teens learn about Jewish connection to the land of Israel, deepen their Jewish identities,  learn modern history of Israel and gain valuable skills of recognizing anti-Israel bias and addressing it effectively.

Does the teen has to be member of Club Z to come to the retreat?    No, not at all! While the retreat is a kick-off event of the regular program, it is open to teens who are only interested in the retreat.

Who Should Attend the Retreat?   The retreat is an immersive and intense experience that will engage participants on many levels. Therefore, we are looking for:

  • First and foremost -- mature and independent teens who are seeking to learn about the Middle East and Israel, and peoplehood.
  • Teens who would like to gain leadership skills and are able to work in teams.
  • Those who like to question and challenge their own assumptions in order to find out what the actual facts are.
  • Teens who are looking to strenghten their Jewish identity.

Is the retreat only for Jewish teens?    Not neccesarily.  We welcome non-Jewish teens who would like to learn factual and accurate information about the Middle East and Israel, and deepen their understanding of the geopolitical context of current events.

What is the process for being accepted as the retreat participant?  Existing members of Club Z are automatically accepted.  New applicants will have an in-person interview with one of the Club Z team memebers.

Deadline for signing up:  Since we have a limited number of available spots, new applicants are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Registration will be closed automatically once the maximum number of 30 teens is reached.
