Course Summary:

If you train regularly, you should be ready to defend yourself with a gun or knife. But are you prepared to deal with the life threatening injuries you may face in the aftermath?

Bullet wounds and knife punctures or slashes can cut arteries and cause you to bleed out in minutes. Based on tested and proven battlefield trauma care techniques, this course is designed to give you the tools and know-how to stop the bleed fast so that emergency rescue has time to arrive at the scene and render professional medical aid.

Plus, these techniques can save lives in many other situations, such as serious injuries at home, automobile crashes, natural disasters, and more.

OPTIONAL TRAUMA KIT:

All supplies and equipment needed for this class will be provided for you. However, if you want to purchase a Basic Personal Trauma Kit for your home or auto, you can order this kit on the registration page for $65 and we'll have it for you to pick up at the class.

It's a zippered nylon carrying case complete with:

• 1 x C-A-T® Tourniquet
• 1 x 6 in. Responder ETD (Emergency Trauma Dressing)
• 2 x NAR Compressed Gauze
• 2 x Pair, Bear Claw Nitrile Gloves, Large
• 1 x NAR Trauma Shears, 7.25 in.
• 1 x Permanent Marker, Small
• 1 x Just in Time Instruction Card
• 1 x PVC Bleeding Control Patch

Course Length/Hours:

1 Day - 9:00am-4:00pm (1 hour free for lunch off-site)

Qualifies for 6 CEC hours.
