Designing Solutions to Keep People Safe from Mosquito-Borne Disease 

Calling all middle school teachers!

Join SJCOE STEM Programs and SJC Mosquito & Vector Control District in a  workshop to explore an engineering-based lesson sequence adapted for distance learning.  The NGSS lesson sequence focuses on ecology, biology, behaviors of a mosquitoes, mosquito-borne disease prevention, and integrated pest management.

Upon attending this workshop, you will have access to:

• A Hyperdoc to facilitate the lesson in distance learning
• An option to invite a guest speaker from the San Joaquin County Mosquito & Vector Control District to Zoom in to your classroom
