Rhodes & Fletcher, LLC "Knowledge Network" event: Personal Finance Implications of Climate Change

Whether you believe that climate change is a man-made or a natural phenomenon, we believe it will impact you. . . and your pocketbook.  Aside from the obvious health concerns, a dryer climate and higher temperatures will have financial implications for everyone.  These might include higher gasoline prices, higher home heating and cooling costs, more expensive groceries, higher insurance premiums, and possibly higher taxes as government adopts a larger role in addressing changes to the environment.

Join our panelists,

  • PG&E Energy Auditor, Kendra Weinisch
  • Bay Area Air Quality Statistician, David Fairley
  • Personal Tax Planner, Mark Berkman, CPA
  • Fine arts curator, Kathrine Worel

as we explore various ways that climate change will impact people’s personal spending and their capacity to save, and examine ways to stay in control even if the planet seems to be spinning out of it.
