PromoScience Coding Camp-FREE Ages 10-14

Through hands-on activities, children will have fun learning about the fundamentals of coding and how to write computer programs for the popular BBC micro:bit pocket sized miniture computer!

This coding camp is intended to encourage children to get actively involved in writing software for computers and creating new things. The camp will give participants a good foundation for understanding how simple computer programs work, and how they can control devises... an important first step towards the excxiting field of robotics!

It is intended that children will be engaged and inspired to continue developing their skills and interest in computer programming beyond the completion of the camp. Participants will leave with...

  • Their own micro:bit
  • Programs they created at coding camp
  • Copy of the instructions used to code their programs!

NOTE: Parents/guardians will need to complete a permission slips, waivers and additional paperwork the first day of camp so please come into the club with your child.Campers also must bring a packed lunch.
