Captain Julie A. Schroeder

Force C5I Systems Offier, Commander Naval Forces

Captain Schroeder graduated from University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1989 with a BS in Zoology where she received her commission from the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps.

Early career assignments included:  Communications Watch Officer and NOCC Officer at Naval Telecommunications Station in Rota, Spain; Training Officer at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Command Headquarters in Washington, D.C;  Base Administration Officer at Construction Battalion in Port Hueneme, CA; Operational Liaison Division Head and Comptroller at Navy Center for Tactical Systems Interoperability (NCTSI) headquarters in San Diego, California; Communications Officer and Knowledge Manager, Commander, Carrier Strike Group 3 on board USS CARL VINSON supporting a deployment to the 7th Fleet Area of Operations as CTF 70 Communication Officer participating in FOAL EAGLE, TANDEM THRUST AND ULCHI FOCUS LENS exercises and Executive Officer at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station DET Puget Sound, WA.

 More recent assignments include Assistant Chief of Staff, C5I,  for Carrier Strike Group Nine on USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN  where deployed to CENTCOM AOR, she served as CTF 50 N6;  IP Community Manager in Millington TN and N6 Chief Staff Officer for  U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk VA.   She also served as CTF 70 C4I ACOS onboard USS GEORGE WASHINGTON and USS RONALD REAGAN in Yokosuka Japan

 She holds Masters of Science degree in Information Technology Management from Naval Post Graduate School.  Her personal awards include: Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, and Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. She is authorized to wear the Information Dominance Warfare device.
