Mental Wellness in the Workplace Lunch & Learn

According to the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), one in five Canadians experience a mental health problem or illness each year, equating to 500,000 employees unable to work every week due to mental health problems or illnesses.
January is known as a tough month for many. The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce begins the 2019 Lunch & Learn series with a session focused on Mental Wellness in the Workplace. Chanel Gano, a Health Promotion Facilitator with Alberta Health Services, will speak on the effects that poor mental health can have on the workplace, and how employers and employees can be proactive.

Tuesday, January 29th at the Canalta Jurassic Inn (Conference Centre).

Fee: $20 for Chamber members, $25 for non members. Lunch is included; you MUST pre-register so we have numbers for the lunch order. Deadline to register is Friday, Jan. 25.
